Publishing and Listing on the Index

Sweet Music Index had its genesis as a site to answer recurring questions from Sweet Music Digest, the mountain dulcimer e-mail list. So it is a product of the participants in the Digest. With few exceptions the authors in the Index are mountain dulcimer musicians who are active on the list.

But, just as everyone who has an interest in the music of the mountain dulcimer is welcome on the e-mail list, so it is with the Index. If you have an idea, and material, for an article which is not covered in the Index and it is pertinent to the dulcimer, tune-up, pull up a chair, introduce yourself, and join the round robin!

Hyperlinks
Like the Digest, Sweet Music Index is not commercial. So, as a rule, we only make hyperlinks to other sites on the World Wide Web if they have information which will enhance a person's understanding of, and ability to play the mountain dulcimer. Such sites may be commercial, but the index is not here to sell products.

The Vendors' Tables section of the Index lists commercial sites only for musicians, luthiers, and merchants who participate actively in the Sweet Music Digest e-mail list. We may have missed you, if so, let us know and you're in. So too with personal web pages.
