Sounding the Archives

The correspondance in Sweet Music Digest is archived in two ways:

1. Majordomo's archives: These are filed under the volume and issue number of the digest version; such as V3 #866. Here is how to access these files:

In the body of an e-mail message to Majordomo@ClearSpring.com type -- index dulcimer-list -- the server will return an index of files you can "get" for the list.

Then send to the same address -- get dulcimer-list <filename> -- in the body of an e-mail message, where <filename> is the name of the file or files you wish to get (do not use the <brackets>).

2. The archives at FindMail: These are searchable by subject, date, author, and keyword. (In order to facilitate searches by subject, when you write to the list use be brief and descriptive in the subject line of the message and/or use the same subject as the message to which you are responding.) These archives are found at :
